Elgin Guest House is in the middle of Elgin and the Whisky Trail. It is located on the A96 connecting the two nearest cities – Aberdeen and Inverness. The house is less than two minutes away from the towns centre’s shops, restaurants and in the opposite direction is the Elgin City football ground.
This lovely three storey, stone-built town house has off-road parking for 6 cars. The guest house is over 150 years old and is easily located. It is popular on those keen on golf, fishing, or seeking castles and malt whiskey. Close by are the Glen Moray distillery, the Elgin cathedral ruins and biblical gardens. Beautiful beaches are 10 minutes away where regular sightings of bottlenose dolphins, humpback and minke whales occur.
The guest House is close to museums, Cashmere Centre and Baxters, where you can sample a local pancake. This property also has one of the best locations in Elgin and guests will get more for their money when compared to most other properties in this city. The immediate area is surrounded with sporting estates, fishing for trout and salmon, golf, shooting, cycling and walking, which all enhance the rural ambience of the area.
